Max, Our Mascot
![]() |
We are excited to share Max’s story with you! Max is a very special kitty who is dear to all our hearts here at Saving Paws. If his beautiful, one-of-a-kind face with those big blue eyes doesn’t win you over, his personality certainly will. Max has been with us since the beginning, and we regard him as our mascot. Recently, Max was diagnosed with renal failure. We were so sad to hear this. Luckily, the kind people at Fox Valley Cat Clinic heard of this, and decided to adopt Max as their office kitty. Max is now pampered as ever by the staff and patrons of this clinic in Menasha. He is also very well cared for every day, and the employees are able to keep a close eye on his condition, which is important with his state of health.

8/23/07: We have an update from the Fox Valley Cat Clinic on Max! “Max is fitting right into the clinic. Our clients love him and I think he likes it here. He does not jump onto anything, walks around looking for someone to pet him and is taking his medications well. He’s eating a ton of renal food...he LOVES it!” Why Max is so Special to Us Max has a special place in all our hearts because of his story. Max is an older cat who has lived at Saving Paws Animal Rescue since we started. He came to Michelle, the director, a couple years ago because he was spraying in his house and his owners no longer wanted him.
